# Open Meadow

Open Meadow is a creative platform that supports you in exploring meditation your way. It uses AI to make new ways of relating to meditation possible. You can create and adapt meditations, play them with a unique player, and curate your own library.

It supports your own path and interests, whether you follow a particular tradition or develop a practice entirely your own. You choose what to explore, with control over the practice, style, pacing, and length of each meditation.

Open Meadow is an experimental, independent project with no investors, funded entirely by its users.

## Creating meditations

The main interface is a chat with Omi, the AI assistant. Describe what you want, ask for a specific meditation, or talk through your practice. Omi helps you create and revisit meditations, answers questions about the app, and supports your own choices.

You can also bring a script you wrote or drafted with another AI tool. Adapt it with Omi or preserve the original wording, then listen with your choice of voice and music.

## What you can do

- Chat with Omi, the meditation companion, to create a meditation based on what you want to explore.
- Bring your own meditation script and turn it into spoken audio with pauses.
- Choose voices, languages, background music, and ending sounds.
- Follow the script during playback, jump to a line, and adjust pause lengths.
- Save meditations in your library, mark favorites, and review your practice history.
- Share a meditation through a link. Meditations are private by default.
