The History page shows a log of your meditation sessions, grouped by week and day. Open Meadow adds sessions automatically when you listen, and you can add or remove them yourself.

How sessions are logged
| Source | When a session is added | Shown as |
|---|---|---|
| Playback | After 3 minutes of listening, or after half of the meditation has played, whichever comes first. | Tracked automatically |
| Download | When a downloaded file is saved. Open Meadow cannot tell whether it was played, so the session is marked as assumed and appears faded. | From download |
| Manual | When you choose Log Session in the player's More menu. Choosing Remove Session in the same place undoes it. | Logged manually |
Session details
Tapping a session opens Session Details:
- the date and the time of day: Morning, Afternoon, Evening or Night
- the approximate hour, for example Around 7 AM, for sessions tracked during playback or logged manually
- the meditation's duration
- how the session was logged
A session stays in your history after its meditation is deleted, marked No longer in library.
Times follow the timezone set in Preferences.
Confirm or remove a session
- Confirm appears on sessions that came from a download. It marks the session as one you actually listened to.
- Remove deletes any session from your history.
Duplicate sessions
When the same meditation is logged more than once in a short time, for example played and downloaded together, Open Meadow merges the entries into one session. The window is 60% of the meditation's length, with a minimum of 3 minutes and a maximum of 45 minutes.
