Open Meadow is a creative platform that supports you in exploring meditation your way. It uses AI to open new ways of relating to meditation. You can create and adapt meditations, play them with a player built for meditation, and curate your own library.

Your practice, your way
Open Meadow follows your own path and interests. You may follow a particular faith or tradition, take a secular approach, or develop a practice entirely your own. You choose what to explore, and you control the practice, style, pacing and length of each meditation.
The main part of the app is a chat with Omi, the AI assistant. Unlike most meditation apps, Omi does not teach you how to meditate. Omi supports your own choices: it helps you create and revisit meditations, answers questions about the app, and learns your preferences over time.
Open Meadow is an experimental, independent project with no investors, funded entirely by its users.
Many ways to meditate
There are many ways to create a meditation in Open Meadow. Here are some of them.
Talk with Omi. Open the chat, describe what you want, and Omi helps you create a meditation or talk through your practice.
Ask for a specific meditation. If you already know what you want, ask for it directly. You can specify the practice, style, pacing, length and other details. This works well if you follow a method and want more control.
Bring your own script. Paste in a script you wrote, a passage from a book, or a draft from another AI tool, in any format.
Adapt or preserve. Omi can rewrite a script to fit the time you have, or keep it close to the original.
You can also paste a complete script into the Instant Player to hear it straight away, or adapt any meditation in My Library into a new version. Creative Space holds experiments such as Lyria recordings, which generate the voice and music of a short meditation together.
What you can do with a meditation
- Listen in the player and follow the script as it plays.
- Choose from Kokoro, Gemini and ElevenLabs voices, in English and other languages.
- Add background music and an ending sound.
- Make pauses shorter or longer while you listen.
- Edit the script, or ask Omi for a new version.
- Download it as an MP3.
- Share it with a link. Meditations are private by default.
- Keep it in My Library and see your practice in History.
Where it runs
